What does it take to be an expert? FTI Consulting/ArbitralWomen event, London, 14 March 2018

On 14 March 2018, FTI Consulting and ArbitralWomen will hold an evening panel discussion on the theme “Male, Female or simply ‘Expert’: What does it take to be an expert?” The discussion will revolve around three questions: What makes a good expert: does gender matter? Why do we see so few female experts? How can we remedy this issue?

The panel will be chaired by Barbara Dohmann QC (Blackstone Chambers and Chairman of the International Arbitration Centre in the Astana International Arbitration Centre in Kazakhstan), and will comprise arbitrators Juliet Blanch and Gillian Carmichael Lemaire, as well as two expert witnesses, Juliette Fortin and Meloria Meschi from FTI Consulting. It should be a lively and interactive session.
